Halloween Home Tour (I went overboard!)

Well Halloween is getting nearer so of course I wanted to share how I decorated my apartment for Halloween to wrap up my HalloWeek 2020 series.

This post will show you some of my favorite highlights in my decor, but if you want to see my transform my apartment into a Halloween wonderland, definitely check out my video below!

Okay! On to showing you some of my favorite bits throughout my apartment. I just love how all my HalloWeek DIYs from this year and the past came together to make my apartment feel ready for the holiday!

I wanted to start with my dining room because I think this is my absolute favorite spot I’ve decorated. I styled up my thrift flipped vase and candle sticks on my table with a buffalo check runner.

Then in the background you can see I gave one of my house plants some love with faux pumpkins and a masquerade mask.

I also draped some Dollar Tree “creepy cloth” over my painting. And of course, the focal piece, which is the bats hanging from my ceiling light. I love how it looks like they are flying above my table!

Just a few more details from around my dining room!

Ok let’s move along to my kitchen! I added a few spooky elements in here too.

The glare over the oven makes it hard to see what’s in my frame. I actually made a little “recipe card” based off the Witches’ poem in Shakespeare’s Macbeth! The image is below and it’s free for you to save and print out too!

I had this plastic cauldron in my decor stash for years and I thought it would make a cute utensil holder! I put a mason jar on the inside so all my spoons and spatulas would stand up straight.

Now onto my living room! This has to be my favorite little vignette I set up. The skeleton is absolutely hilarious and I just adore the orange and black gallery wall. Also peep the little rat sticking out from behind the bench leg.

I didn’t do much else in my living room besides the bench and adding a little festive flair around my TV. I hand-cut all those bats because I don’t have a cutting machine. I also love my faux fiddle leaf in the pumpkin bucket!

I styled up my entryway shelf with a few of my favorite decor pieces, and of course, I had to put my Halloween face masks by the door.

And finally, a quick shot of how I added a few spooky touches to my bedroom!

I hope you enjoyed getting a glimpse into my apartment and how I decorated for Halloween. I know I probably went a bit overboard, but I absolutely love and it brings me so much joy.

And that’s a wrap on HalloWeek 2020! I’m sad to see it go, but so happy with how this week turned out. If you missed anything, you can watch my full playlist on YouTube right here.
